Robo-Routes
Homeschool Academy: The Museum Classroom is a program targeting the interests of homeschool families ages 5 to 18. Robo-Routes will take place at the National Naval Aviation Museum on October 20, 2025 from 10 am to noon in the Blue Angels Atrium.
Robo-Routes will allow participants ages 5 - 18 to learn about some of the most famous Navigational Routes in US Navy history. They will program robots to recreate those famous routes. Children will take part in age-appropriate activities during the event. After the event, families are encouraged to tour the museum or participate in special Flight Adventure Deck Tours, focusing on the science of flight.
- This event is $5.00 per child. This fee is non-refundable.
- This event is limited to 40 participants aged 5 to 18.
- Registration opens at 9 am on 4 February.
- All participants ages 5 to 18 MUST BE REGISTERED for the event.
- Escorts, chaperones, and/or parents are NOT required to register.
- Anyone over 18 attending this event must have a valid state-issued ID or U.S. Passport to access NAS Pensacola.
Base Access:
All Entries to NAS Pensacola by visitors who DO NOT HAVE a DoD ID must be made through the WEST GATE (Blue Angel Parkway) between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm
All Visitors without DoD IDs must have a REAL ID (star ID) to come aboard a federal installation.
The Museum now has a Clear Bag Policy in affect. All visitors' bags larger than the size of one's palm must be clear.

- No Shows
If your child does not attend an event for which he/she is registered, please notify us immediately so that others can be registered to attend. If you fail to notify us and your child is a no-show, your child will not be allowed to register for the next Homeschool Academy event.
- Registrations
Each child should be registered by his/her parent or guardian. All releases must be acknowledged by a legal parent or guardian only.
- Refunds
Registration for each Homeschool Academy session is $5 per child. This fee is nonrefundable.
- Groups
During these events, we divide children into two (or more) groups according to their ages. If you have two or more children in different groups that you do not want to be separated, the older child(ren) will be required to join the younger group.
