Project Recover
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY
Advanced Homeschool Academy is a program that targets the interests of homeschool families with children ages 12-19. This session will take place at the National Naval Aviation Museum on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10 am in the Blue Angels Atrium. We are very excited to be partnering with Project Recover to bring you this session!
Project Recover is an organization dedicated to locating, recovering, and repatriating Americans still missing in action from past conflicts. Their mission provides a direct service to an estimated 5 million MIA Gold Star family members while also honoring the sacrifices of our nation's veterans and active-duty service members.
Through cutting-edge science, research, and underwater archaeology, Project Recover demonstrates a commitment to never giving up on bringing our fallen heroes home.
Check-in: 9:30 am near Blue Angels Atrium
Event begins: 10:00 am in Atrium
Event ends: 12:30 pm
This session will allow participants ages 12-19 to learn about Project Recover.
- This event is $5.00 per child and is non-refundable.
- This event is limited to 100 participants aged 12-19.
- Registration opens at 9 am on September 8th.
- All participants ages 12-19 MUST BE REGISTERED for the event.
- Escorts, chaperones, and/or parents are NOT required to register.
Rules and restrictions:
All Entries to NAS Pensacola by visitors who DO NOT HAVE a DoD/DoW ID must be made through the WEST GATE (Blue Angel Parkway) between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm.
Everyone coming aboard NAS Pensacola, ages 18 and older, must be ready to present a REAL ID (star driver's license) or U.S. Passport to the gate sentry.
Only clear bags are allowed in the National Naval Aviation Museum, with the exception of diaper bags and medical bags.

- No Shows
If your child does not attend an event for which they are registered, please notify us immediately so that others can register to attend. If you fail to notify us and your child is a no-show, your child will not be allowed to register for the next Homeschool Academy event.
- Registrations
Each child should be registered by their parent or guardian. All releases must be acknowledged by a legal parent or guardian only.
- Refunds
Registration for each Homeschool Academy session is $5 per child, nonrefundable.
- Groups
During these events, we divide children into two (or more) groups according to their ages. If you have two or more children in different groups that you do not want to be separated, the older child(ren) will need to join the younger group.
